FHeggs Vender Terms & Policies – Review Carefully
FHeggs Terms & Policies 1. Overview FHeggs is a marketplace connecting independent farms and hatcheries (“Vendors”) with customers purchasing fertile hatching eggs (“Buyers”). By listing or purchasing products on FHeggs, you agree to comply with these Terms and Policies. 2. Vendor Responsibilities Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including breed, egg quantity, NPIP status, and shipping timelines. Vendors must ship clean, fresh, and properly packaged fertile eggs within the timeframe stated in their listings. Vendors agree to communicate promptly with buyers regarding order updates or delays. Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable federal and state regulations related to the sale and shipment of hatching eggs. Vendors agree not to list or sell internationally without prior written approval from FHeggs (currently limited to U.S. only). 3. NPIP and Biosecurity Vendors listing eggs as NPIP Verified must provide a valid NPIP number and maintain current certification. Vendors are responsible for keeping biosecurity practices consistent with state and federal standards. FHeggs may request verification or documentation at any time. 4. Buyer Responsibilities Buyers understand that hatching eggs are a perishable product and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed. Buyers agree to follow all incubation best practices and to report damaged eggs within 24 hours of delivery. Buyers must ensure that hatching eggs are legal to receive and incubate in their location. 5. Refunds & Returns Due to the perishable nature of hatching eggs, FHeggs does not accept returns. Vendors must offer at least a “Live Arrival” or “Arrival Condition Guarantee” for damaged eggs (replacement or partial refund). Hatch rates are not guaranteed. 6. Shipping All eggs must be shipped within the United States using appropriate packaging and labeling. Vendors must follow USPS or carrier guidelines for fragile and perishable items. Vendors are encouraged to avoid weekend holds and communicate any weather-related delays. 7. Marketplace Conduct FHeggs reserves the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or refuse service to vendors or buyers who violate these policies. Vendors agree to use original photos and truthful descriptions (no misrepresentation or stolen images). Vendors will not include external website links, competitor promotions, or unrelated items in listings. 8. Liability FHeggs acts as a platform only and is not the seller of individual products. Each vendor is independently responsible for fulfilling orders and resolving customer issues. FHeggs assumes no liability for loss, damage, or disputes between buyers and vendors. 9. Agreement By checking the box labeled “I agree to FHeggs Terms & Policies,” vendors and buyers confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms. 10. Dispute Resolution FHeggs serves as the neutral marketplace platform between buyers and vendors. In the event of a dispute regarding product quality, arrival condition, communication, or refund eligibility, FHeggs reserves the right to make the final decision based on provided evidence (such as photos, shipment tracking, or correspondence). Both vendors and buyers agree that FHeggs’ decision will be considered final and binding. FHeggs may issue partial or full refunds, request replacements, or remove vendors who repeatedly violate quality or communication standards.
